Cottonwood Beach at Captain William Clark Park – This 93-acre park offers access to the Columbia River for swimming, as well as multiuse trails, restrooms, historic sites, covered picnic areas and areas for parking.
Sandy Swimming Hole – Enjoy this perfect little spot for swimming and picnicking located at 550 North Shepherd Road. Swimmers, kayakers, and small-boat operators alike flock to this park during the summer season to enjoy the large sun deck and cool waters of the Washougal River.
Mt. Pleasant Iris Farm – Located in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area and offering gardens with many different species of beautiful Iris’s this locally owned garden operates from April – June.
Hathaway Park – There are so many opportunities to enjoy the beauty of our area at Hathaway Park. Considered the “jewel” of Washougal, this park offers entertainment for people of all ages including playgrounds and play structures, covered picnic areas, sports fields, swimming, fishing, boating, kayaking, and pickleball courts.
